According to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 AA, all live webinar tools must be capable of providing live captions. Please see 1.2.4 Live Captions.
You must ensure your webinar or live video tool includes live captioning capabilities.
Application
Currently, UAMS has access to two Webinar platforms that can provide live automated captions: Zoom & Microsoft Teams.
If you intend to host a Zoom session longer than 30 minutes, it’s recommended that you request a Zoom license.
If you plan to use Zoom with Blackboard, you can also set up Zoom Meetings directly from Blackboard and transfer Zoom recordings automatically to Kaltura. Visit the Zoom & Kaltura Integration guide to learn more.
