Respondus 4.0 is a powerful tool for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to Blackboard and other eLearning systems. To learn more, you can visit Respondus 4.0 Resources.
You can type test questions in Word, import them to Respondus 4.0, and publish them to Blackboard. The reverse process is available: retrieve test questions from Blackboard, save them in Respondus 4.0, and print the tests as Word documents.
The test questions must be typed in Word in a specific format. See the Formatting Questions to Import to Respondus step-by-step for details.
For both publish and retrieve processes you need to connect Respondus to Blackboard (see step-by-step below).

If you used Respondus 4.0 prior to the recent Blackboard update and new login page, please follow the Connecting to Blackboard step-by-step above to create a new connection (new server).
