Our instructional designers partner with faculty and staff to create instructional experiences in the classroom and online that make teaching and learning more efficient, effective, and appealing.

Goals

• Participate in faculty discussions, research, and professional development activities to improve teaching and learning.
• Assess learner and faculty satisfaction with course design.
• Align learning objectives, instructional strategies, and assessments.
• Develop curricula, courses, and lessons.
• Create strategies to increase interactivity, engagement, and active learning.
• Design instructional media and learning objects, such as video, interactive online activities, and narrated presentations.
• Build templates for instructional materials and online course shells.
• Recommend resources and tools.
